I have qualified Gate 2016 -Reg No - CE16S58047165. My basic qualification is B.Tech Civil Engineering ( session 2008-2012), but due to backlogs I completed my degree in December 2014. The provisional certificate issued to me by Kurukshetra University states the passed out year as 2012. I went there for correction but officials told me That they usually write final session year on Provisional and Main Degree instead of year of completion. During filling of gate form in place of Year of Graduation I wrote it as 2014 ( year on which i completed my degree after clearing all backlogs), and as asked by Gate authorities I uploaded the Provisional Degree Certificate issued by University. Then after doing scrutinizing Gate conduction authorities accepted my application form & issued me a Hall Ticket to appear in examination. Now as I have qualified the Gate, now if I get admission to some college in Post Graduation, then would not it cause any problem during admission and getting scholarship from MHRD which given to Gate qualified candidates on admission to PG courses. And if there is some wrong then please tell me the procedure to rectify that. Please help me regarding this as its for the sake of my future. I am here by attaching necessary documents.
