The D/o. Expenditure has transferred the RTI application to the PMO in respect of Point No. 6 related to fund allocation. Since the subject matter of this point does not relate to this office, the RTI application is returned back to the Department of Expenditure for further necessary action.
However, Information sought vide Point 1 & 2 of the RTI application pertains to this office, and, information, as available, in respect of the same would be provided to the applicant by this office.

Point No.1 to 5 of the RTI application does not pertain to MHRD.
So far as point no.6 is concerned, in D/o Higher Education, under Student Financial Aid, allocation on Interest Subsidy and Contribution for Guarantee Funds in the BE 2016-17 was Rs.1950 crore which was revised to Rs.1850 crore under RE 2016-17.
