Respected Sir/ Madam,\n In March 1st, 2019 AICTE published a notification in which the recruitment rules for the recruitment of assistant professor/ associate professor/ professor in all the technical institutions were properly mentioned. My queries are-\n1. Do all the National Institute of Technologies also come under the purview of AICTE regulation regarding the recruitment of teachers. If not then, please provide me the relevant regulation applicable for recruitment of teachers in NITs. In case all the NITs follow separate rules or regulations for the recruitment of teachers then, please let me know that.\n2. Does AICTE regulation regarding recruitment of teachers applies to the Indian Institute of Technologies. If not then, please provide me the relevant regulation regarding recruitment of teachers applicable to IITs. In case all the IITs follow their own recruitment procedure and are not bound by any unified procedure for all the IITs, then please let me know that.\n3. Apart from the NITs, IITs is there any other technical education institutions which do not come under the direct purview of the AICTE regulation regarding the recruitment of teachers. Please provide their names and also provide the relevant regulations regarding teacher recruitment applicable to them.
