Dear Sir/ Madam\nPlease provide following informations with respect to all IITs( Indian Institute of Technologies) established in India ( Both old and New).\n\n1. total number of vacancy of Assistant Professors, Associate Professors and Professors in various departments , schools and centres reserved for SC and ST at all IITs.\n2. Please provide department/school/centre wise vacancy reserved for SC and ST at all IITs for posts as mentioned in point 1 above..\n3. Please provide details regarding relaxation provided to SC and ST applicants for above posts in lieu of first class/division required for general candidates.\n4. please provide detailed information about eleigibility of person with second class or higher second class ( above 55%) in UG or PG degree and having PhD from Institutes of repute and necessary research experience for above posts ( Point 1). \n5. With respect to point 4 above please provide details of relaxation ever provided to any of above mentioned post ( Point 1)in terms of first class in UG and PG degree and reason for providing or not providing accordingly.\n6. How while recuting reserved candidates to above cited positions IITs make equality in terms of marks and percentage and divisions of first, second and third class awarded by different Institutes and Universities through out the India.\n7. Different Universities and Institutes have different methods of Examinations and assesment in terms of external and Internal examinations etc. while recruiting Faculties for reserved categories please provide the scale on which IITs make the equality in the marks awarded by different universities and institutions.\n8. Please provide full details of steps that IITs have taken to attract good faculties from SC and ST categories.\n9. Please provide the full information and detail regarding changing of reserved vacancy of faculties from one department/centre to other with in same institute if done in last 10 years.
