Information was requested from CPIO, MHRD on present status of inquiry copy about faculty recruitment illegality at IISER Bhopal which was directed by Prime Minister office vide order no. PMOPG/D/2015/0250650, DT. 19.10.2015. The CPIO failed to provide the exact information requested upon, i.e., copy of present inquiry status report that is being initiated by MHRD. Instead a copy of IISER Bhopal reply was provided which not at all requested indeed. The document provided by CPIO is no way a copy of inquiry/action conducted by MHRD and this report nowhere shows what actions being taken by MHRD after obtaining the said reply from IISER Bhopal. The copy provided by CPIO nowhere justified by IISER Bhopal why the reported contractual faculty regularization and Associate Professor promotions are not illegal as per law and rules. Hence, this first appeal to provide the inquiry report copies that was conducted by MHRD or any official actions taken by MHRD on Prime Minister office direction on such illegality.
