Dear Madam/Sir,\nI wish to seek following information under RTI act \n1. Whether the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management/Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management conducted by IIMs are considered as equivalent to MBA or Executive MBA awarded by Universities\na. If answer to the Question No.1 is Yes, kindly provide the copy of directive/act in this regard or reference to the document.\nb. If answer to the Question No.1 is No, kindly provide the clarification for the same or provide norms to be fulfilled by EPGDM programme for considering as equivalent to MBA/Executive MBA.\n2. Whether the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management/Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management conducted by IIMs requires AICTE/UGC/AIU approval to be considered as equivalent to MBA or Executive MBA awarded by Universities\n3. Whether the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management/Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management conducted by IIMs are considered as equivalent to MBA or Executive MBA for pursuing higher studies (PhD/FPM etc) & applying for government jobs where MBA is desired qualification\n4. Provide the reference document name/source with all provisions applicable for IIMs validity of the courses offered by IIMs.\nSince IIMs are autonomous institution set up under MHRD, I am not seeking individual response from each IIM & seeking the general norms applicable to all IIMs and the courses conducted by IIMs.
