I was selected to IISER kolkata for its PhD program begining August 2016 session. As per the conditions I had to secure my admission through a payment of 21024/- within the stipulated date. I made the payment as per the rules, but as I secured admission in another institute, RGCB, Trivandrum, under the aegis of DBT, in my area of interest I opted to withdraw my admission from IISER kolkata. \nI wrote to the Registrar, IISER-K etc for the refund from IISER kolkata, and as per their instruction I submitted all the documents needed to avil the refund. I was told that the sum of 3000/- would be deducted afterwhich the remaining would be returned. It has been more than a month since the process has been completed and i have written to the institute and the concerned authorities regarding the same but there has been no response.\nI would like to know the status of my refund claim.\nThank you.
