Related to scholarship to gate qualified students studying in institutes like IITs & NITs whether it is required to return gate scholarship (fully or partially) to the institute if the 2 year(4 semester) M Tech course in any discipline is discontinued in the middle. Reply should be given considering following cases whether complete received, partially received or no scholarship should be returned: 1. Course discontinued without completing even single semester i.e. student was in institute for two months and received scholarship for the two months and then discontinued. 2. Course discontinued after completing first semester i.e. student completed first semester with all dues paid and then discontinues immediately within a month of results of first semester without registering for second semester. Also reply is requested for the gate candidates who joined institutes in 2014 batch. Any changes happened after the said period should also be intimated.
